Get More Google Reviews Automatically
Rateo reduces the friction between a great customer experience and an honest Google review by giving businesses a QR code and shareable link that customers can use when they are ready.
The best review opportunity can disappear in the busy moment
Customers may be willing to share a review but forget after they leave. A long form, a hard-to-find link, or an unclear next step adds friction at exactly the moment when the experience is fresh.
The answer is not to pressure customers or show different paths based on their rating. It is to make the same public review option simple and visible to every customer, then let each person decide whether to use it.
A simpler customer journey
- 1
Create a branded Rateo QR code and shareable review link for your business. Place the QR code on tables, counters, receipts, packaging, or other customer-facing materials.
- 2
Invite customers to share an honest experience at a natural moment, such as after a completed visit or a helpful interaction. Rateo supports a customer-initiated journey rather than sending SMS or email requests.
- 3
Customers scan or click, follow the rating experience, and can choose to continue to Google. The shorter path makes participation easier without promising that every customer will leave a review.
Remove friction without removing choice
QR codes customers can scan
Put a clear next step in the physical places where customers already finish an interaction.
Shareable links
Use the same review path in a follow-up conversation, on a website, or in printed materials without a complicated search.
A consistent public option
Make the review option available to every customer instead of filtering access by a private rating or predicted sentiment.
A faster path to Google
Keep the customer journey focused so customers can share their experience while it is still top of mind.
More opportunities for honest customer feedback
When businesses make the public review path easy to find, more customers have an opportunity to share feedback at a time that feels natural. The result is a more representative and useful stream of customer experiences.
Rateo automates the setup and workflow around the review link; it does not promise a specific number of reviews, filter customers, or send unsolicited review requests.
What Rateo customers say
How teams use the review workflow
These first-party customer testimonials are presented as customer feedback, not as reviews from an external platform.
We started using Rateo around March because I was terrible about remembering to ask customers for reviews. We put the QR code on the invoices and at the front desk. It's definitely helped. We're getting reviews more regularly now, and I don't have to stand there awkwardly asking people to leave one. The automatic responses are good too.
We had a stack of little review cards before this and nobody used them 😂. The Rateo QR code is much easier. We put it right next to the card machine and customers can scan it if they want. We've definitely seen more reviews since doing that. I also like being able to keep an eye on everything from one place.
I've tried a couple different ways of asking customers for reviews over the years. Most of them ended up being another thing for my employees to remember. Rateo is simpler. We added the QR code to the paperwork we leave after the job and that's basically our process now. Nothing complicated, which is what I wanted.
We've been using Rateo for a few months now. The biggest difference is consistency. Before, we'd have a great week with five or six reviews and then nothing for three weeks because nobody remembered to ask. Now it's part of our normal checkout process. That's probably more valuable to us than anything else.
Very easy to use. We printed the QR code and put it near the register. Some customers scan it and some don't, but we've definitely gotten more reviews than we were getting before. The automatic responses are also helpful because I don't always have time to sit down and write something for every review.
What I like about Rateo is that I don't have to train my guys on some complicated software. They finish the job, the customer gets the QR code, and that's pretty much it. I can check the reviews from my phone later. We've gotten a lot more consistent with asking for them.
Pretty straightforward. I had the whole thing running the same afternoon I signed up. The QR code is probably the part we use the most. We put it on the invoice and tell customers they can scan it if they want to leave feedback. No complaints so far.
We've gone from getting maybe one or two Google reviews a month to getting them pretty regularly. I don't want to say every customer uses it because they definitely don't. But having the QR code there gives people an easy way to leave one when they do want to.
Frequently asked questions
Does Rateo send review requests by SMS or email?
No. Rateo provides a QR code and shareable link for the business to display. Customers scan or click and choose whether to share their experience.
Where can I display a Rateo QR code?
Businesses can display a QR code on tables, counters, printed cards, packaging, receipts, or other places where customers can see it after an interaction.
Does Rateo use review gating?
No. Rateo is designed around giving customers a consistent public review option. Businesses should not decide who sees Google based on a private rating or predicted sentiment.
How quickly will I get more reviews?
The result depends on your customer volume, where you display the QR code or link, and whether customers choose to participate. Rateo reduces friction but cannot guarantee a review volume.
Can I share the review link online?
Yes. The shareable link can be used in customer-facing digital or printed materials, alongside the QR code.
